This is another stunning place for you to visit which has the most historical significance as these were the grounds where the Treaty of Waitangi which is the founding document was signed between the British and Maori in 1840. You can have a guided tour at the historic site  and experience the cultural performances that take place regularly during the day and then the immense Maori experience in the evening of the Wero(challenge) and the powhiri(welcome) and cultural performances before feasting on a traditional hangi (where the food is cooked underground.)
